About the role
Sanlam Developing Markets is seeking a Branch Consultant/Financial Advisor to promote its retail mass products, provide sound financial advice and deliver high‑level client service within a branch environment in Hammersdale.
Key responsibilities
- Gain in‑depth knowledge of SRM product ranges and match them to customers' financial goals and means.
- Provide advice, submit new business, and conduct due‑diligence to identify and flag risks.
- Service existing client profiles, send payment reminders, manage persistency and handle policy cancellations or alterations.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and quality standards, log activities and retain records of advice.
- Report daily activity, collate weekly/monthly data and fulfil ad‑hoc requests from the Retail Branch Manager.
Required profile
- Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
- FAIS compliance (Wealth Management) as per DOFA requirements.
- RE5 qualification is advantageous.
