Bell Person / Valet Driver

About the role

The Bell Person provides professional luggage handling and in‑house logistics for guests at a luxury hotel. Working closely with the Front Office, Concierge and other departments, the role ensures safe, timely and courteous service for all guest transportation needs.

Key responsibilities

• Offload and load guest luggage, completing luggage sheets for items stored by the hotel.
• Manage vehicle packing procedures, ensuring correct weight balance and safety for equipment and goods.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment in a clean, tidy condition and report any accidents or damage immediately.
• Respond promptly to service requests from the Concierge and Front Office, delivering transportation services on time.
• Stock minibars, manage inventory, organize orders and bill guests accurately.
• Assist other departments during quieter periods with relevant duties as needed.

Required profile

• Completed Grade 12 education.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to operate various passenger vehicles.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar customer‑facing or logistics role.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Ability to work safely under pressure and follow safety procedures.
• Professional, courteous attitude with strong attention to detail.
