Banking Specialist – High Net Worth Clients

About the role

The Banking Specialist will deliver tailored, high‑value banking solutions to high‑net‑worth clients. You will work closely with relationship managers, wealth advisors and product specialists to understand complex financial needs and provide expert advice across lending, deposits, cash management and international banking.

Key responsibilities

• Engage directly with high‑net‑worth clients to assess their financial objectives and structures.
• Provide expert guidance on complex banking solutions, including unsecured lending, lines of credit and bespoke credit facilities.
• Structure and arrange mortgages for luxury properties and intricate ownership arrangements.
• Design and implement customized cash‑management strategies for both trading and non‑trading entities.
• Facilitate foreign‑currency transactions and coordinate cross‑border banking solutions in line with regulatory frameworks.
• Collaborate with internal credit, risk and lending teams to ensure compliant execution of solutions.
• Support relationship managers and wealth advisors during joint client meetings and respond to time‑sensitive banking requests.

Required profile

• Proven experience in banking, private banking or high‑net‑worth client environments.
• Strong understanding of banking regulations, risk and compliance requirements.
• Ability to translate complex banking structures into clear, client‑friendly recommendations.
• Excellent client‑engagement skills and a collaborative mindset.
• BCom degree (NQF 7) and FSCA‑approved RE5 certification.
