Azure Data Scientist

About the role

Amidel is an Information Technology and Business Consulting Company that provides highly specialised solutions to enterprises in the private and public sectors. We are seeking a highly motivated Intermediate/Senior Azure Data Scientist with strong expertise in machine learning, data engineering, and AI model deployment on Microsoft Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy scalable machine learning models on Azure.
• Use Azure Machine Learning to train, test, and operationalise AI models.
• Perform data ingestion, transformation, and feature engineering with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Databricks.
• Collaborate with data engineers to develop robust data pipelines.
• Integrate models into business applications via APIs or embedded services.
• Create interactive Power BI reports and dashboards to visualise predictive insights.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in data science, analytics, or AI/ML solution development.
• At least 3 years working on Microsoft Azure‑based data science platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate (required or in progress).

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Machine‑learning libraries such as scikit‑learn, pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
• Azure Machine Learning service.
• Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks.
• Power BI for reporting and visualisation.
• MLOps principles and automated ML lifecycle management.
• Experience with Azure Data Lake and data integration.
