Area Sales Manager

About the role

Our client is seeking an energetic Area Sales Manager to act as a brand ambassador across Pretoria, Hammanskraal, Midrand, Centurion and Johannesburg South. You will lead a team of Customer Sales Consultants, drive revenue growth and ensure the implementation of the company’s multichannel strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an up‑to‑date planning system for all customers in the assigned area.
• Lead, motivate and support the sales team to meet monthly and annual budgets.
• Accountable for sales growth, profit margins and customer balance growth of each team member.
• Coach, develop and conduct regular 1‑on‑1 and group meetings, including product training.
• Travel with consultants up to 15 days per month and complete all reporting and administrative tasks.
• Implement the company’s sales strategy, monitor market trends and conduct competitor analysis.
• Build and maintain relationships with large customers and ensure accurate data management.

Required profile

• Matric or equivalent; studying or completed a marketing/business degree or diploma.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Sales Manager.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Proven sales track record and goal‑driven mindset.
• Strong leadership and report‑writing skills.
