Architect – Buildings Team

About the role

Woolpert Africa is hiring Architects and Senior Technologists for its Buildings Team in Johannesburg, South Africa. The position reports to Project Leads in the UK and US and supports the development and delivery of project deliverables. Woolpert is a global architecture, engineering and geospatial firm.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project deliverables from concept through completion and oversee projects through construction and close-out.
• Work closely with global staff, Project Leads and interdisciplinary teams on complex projects for major technology clients.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Architecture, Bachelor's degree, or BTech in Architectural Technology.
• 3 to 6 years of architectural experience across all stages of design and construction.
• Experience on medium- to large-sized projects such as retail, multi-family residential or commercial developments.
• SACAP registration.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and collaborate with global teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, as Woolpert is a Revit office.
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams) and Bluebeam.
• Strong design, coordination and problem-solving skills.
