Applications Engineer Warehouse Optimisation

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Applications Engineer – Warehouse Optimisation to join a dynamic engineering team. The role involves developing innovative solutions that improve warehouse efficiency, material flow, storage capacity and overall operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse warehouse layouts, material flows, storage requirements and operational processes.
• Develop and design optimisation concepts, material‑handling and storage systems.
• Prepare technical proposals, layouts, process flows and solution concepts.
• Support equipment selection, integration and commissioning activities on site.
• Collaborate with design, automation, project management and operations teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics or Logistics Engineering.
• 3–5+ years experience in applications engineering, warehouse optimisation or related field.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, material flow and storage principles.
• Excellent communication and customer‑facing skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.
