About the role
Hinterland, a leading agricultural retail business, is looking for an analytical and commercially‑minded Stock Planner. The role focuses on optimising stock availability, enhancing product performance and supporting profitable growth across retail categories.
Key responsibilities
- Manage category performance to maximise sales and profits while enhancing product value and customer experience.
- Conduct forecasting, analysis, assortment management and promotion planning.
- Maintain merchandise principles and support inventory planning processes.
Required profile
- Relevant tertiary qualification (minimum higher certificate; diploma or degree advantageous).
- 3–5 years’ experience in inventory management.
- Knowledge of retail operations, stock control and inventory planning.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and computer skills.
- Excellent planning, organising, prioritisation and stakeholder management abilities.
