After-Hours Intake Coordinator (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate and highly professional After‑Hours Intake Coordinator to support a growing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) provider in the United States. You will be the first point of contact for parents seeking autism‑related services for their children, often during vulnerable or stressful times.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to new enquiries received after hours.
• Speak with parents seeking ABA services for their children.
• Provide a compassionate, patient and reassuring first point of contact.
• Gather and accurately record relevant intake information.
• Explain the intake process clearly and professionally.
• Follow up consistently with prospective families.
• Help move suitable enquiries through the intake process.
• Maintain accurate records and update the relevant systems.
• Coordinate with the daytime intake team to ensure a smooth handover.
• Balance responsiveness and progress with sensitivity to each family’s circumstances.

Required profile

• Has strong customer‑facing, client service or intake experience.
• Communicates clearly and confidently in English.
• Has a clear, neutral accent and is comfortable speaking with American clients.
• Is compassionate, patient and emotionally mature.
• Can handle sensitive conversations with care and professionalism.
• Is organised, reliable and consistent with follow‑ups.
• Can build trust without rushing or pressuring families.
• Is comfortable working independently during after‑hours shifts.
• Can commit to a flexible 40‑hour schedule that includes evenings and weekends.
