About the role
A leading FMCG or manufacturing organisation is seeking a 3PL Supply Chain Manager to oversee its third‑party logistics operations in Cape Town. The position is full‑time and based in Cape Town, reporting to senior leadership. The role focuses on managing distribution activities and ensuring the supply chain runs efficiently within a high‑velocity environment.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor third‑party logistics providers to maintain service levels.
- Support distribution management functions across the plant.
Required profile
- Matric certificate.
- B‑Com degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Industrial Engineering (NQF Level 7).
- Strong leadership track record.
- 5‑8 years experience as a Distribution Manager or equivalent supply‑chain exposure in a high‑velocity plant.
Required skills
- Working knowledge of Transport Management Systems (TMS).
- Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Working knowledge of Yard Management Systems (YMS).
