Senior FP&A Analyst – FMCG & Retail

About the role

We are seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join a leading FMCG and retail organisation. The role focuses on financial planning, analysis, modelling and forecasting to support strategic business decisions in a fast‑paced, multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions.
• Provide financial and commercial analysis, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
• Prepare management reporting and deliver insights into business performance.
• Partner with operational and commercial teams to drive performance and profitability.
• Analyse revenue, costs, margins and key business drivers.
• Support strategic planning and scenario modelling.
• Provide recommendations to management based on financial analysis and forecasts.

Required profile

• CA(SA) qualification is essential.
• 4–5 years of commercial finance experience.
• Experience in FMCG, retail or other high‑velocity industries is highly advantageous.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Financial modelling and forecasting capability.
