Warehouse Manager

About the role

An established importer and distributor is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead all warehouse activities, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, inventory control and dispatch while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations
• Supervise receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch
• Lead, coach and develop warehouse staff
• Monitor inventory accuracy and investigate variances
• Coordinate deliveries and logistics
• Oversee container offloading and imported stock
• Implement warehouse procedures and process improvements
• Prepare warehouse reports and KPIs
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification
• Qualification in Logistics, Warehouse Management or Supply Chain (advantageous)
• Minimum 5 years’ warehouse management experience
• Minimum 3 years managing warehouse teams
• Valid driver’s licence
• Experience within lighting, electrical, hardware or building‑supply industry (advantageous)
• Experience with imported stock and container receiving (advantageous)
• Knowledge of electrical products (advantageous)

Required skills

• Experience with ERP/WMS systems
• Strong Microsoft Office skills

What we offer

• Competitive salary ranging from R25 000 to R30 000 CTC, dependent on qualifications and experience
