Technical Project Manager

About the role

The Grain Management Group is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead site‑based projects across its grain handling operations. You will coordinate mechanical, structural and electrical installations while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical installations, structural erection, and electrical motor setups on project sites.
• Manage the installation and commissioning of chain conveyors and bucket elevators.
• Coordinate daily site activities, liaise with contractors, and monitor progress against schedules.
• Ensure compliance with health‑and‑safety regulations, including work at heights.
• Travel locally and internationally as required to support project milestones.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience as a Technical Site or Project Coordinator in grain handling or industrial engineering.
• Minimum Grade 12 education plus a relevant technical or project‑management qualification.
• Valid driver’s licence, reliable transport, and medical fitness for work at heights.
• Willingness to travel; a valid passport is advantageous.
