About the role
The Technical Project Manager will lead projects within the Technical Division at the Vodacom Campus, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget. This role coordinates internal teams and external vendors while maintaining strong client relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate internal resources and third‑party vendors for efficient project execution.
- Deliver projects on schedule, within scope and budget.
- Allocate resources and develop detailed project plans to monitor progress.
- Report status, escalate issues, and provide regular feedback to operations or branch managers.
- Manage client and stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Perform risk management to minimise project risks.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure compliance with client agreements.
Required profile
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- PSIRA registration.
- Tertiary qualification or diploma in engineering (advantageous).
- Proven experience as a project manager in the technology and electronic security sector.
- Driver’s licence, own vehicle and a clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record.
Required skills
- Sound knowledge of CCTV systems.
- Familiarity with Cathexis systems and access control solutions.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
