About the role
The Technical Project Manager will lead the planning, execution and delivery of security technology projects for our Gauteng division. You will act as the primary liaison between internal teams, clients and third‑party vendors to ensure projects meet scope, schedule and budget requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate internal resources and external vendors to drive efficient project execution.
- Deliver projects on time, within scope and budget while managing resource allocation.
- Develop detailed project plans, track progress and provide regular status reports to management.
- Manage client and stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.
- Perform risk management activities to minimise project risks.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure compliance with client agreements.
Required profile
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- PSIRA registration.
- Tertiary qualification or diploma in engineering (advantageous).
- Proven experience as a project manager in the technology/electronic security sector.
- Strong organisational, written and verbal communication skills.
- Valid driver’s licence, own vehicle and a clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record.
Required skills
- CCTV systems knowledge.
- Cathexis system expertise.
- Access control technology familiarity.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
