Short-term Insurance Adviser – OpShield Sti Bluestar

About the role

The Short-term Insurance Adviser will provide new and existing clients with professional financial advice, planning and suitable short‑term insurance products. The role focuses on building long‑term relationships, generating sustainable business and meeting sales targets while adhering to compliance and ethical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, network and generate leads through face‑to‑face interactions, social networks and business associations.
• Conduct comprehensive fact‑finding, financial needs analysis and present tailored short‑term insurance solutions.
• Maintain and grow existing client relationships, providing ongoing service, claims support and annual portfolio reviews.
• Ensure all client interactions comply with regulatory requirements, including Record of Advice documentation.
• Monitor and report on contacts, appointments, issued business and revenue against targets.

Required profile

• Consistent achievement of production targets and ability to build a strong sales pipeline.
• Strong technical knowledge of insurance principles, risk management and FAIS compliance.
• Effective prospecting skills and ability to turn relationships into business opportunities.
