About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Shop Sales Assistant to join our Johannesburg store. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a tidy, well‑stocked retail environment.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a professional, respectful, and discreet manner.
- Provide product information and tailored recommendations based on customer needs.
- Process transactions accurately using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and stock levels.
- Receive deliveries, merchandise displays, and support inventory control.
- Promote current specials, loyalty programmes, and upsell where appropriate.
Required profile
- Minimum three years of retail experience in clothing, jewellery, or shoe stores.
- Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and customer‑focused with a positive attitude.
- Well‑groomed appearance and ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
