Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist (BET)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead the sourcing and hiring of top talent for BET’s growing needs. The role will act as the employer‑brand ambassador, build talent pipelines, and ensure a smooth end‑to‑end recruitment experience.

Key responsibilities

• Actively source current and future talent to meet BET’s hiring needs.
• Utilise social and professional networking sites and industry contacts to identify high‑quality candidates.
• Represent BET at career fairs, conferences and other recruiting events as a brand ambassador.
• Draft internal and external vacancy advertisements in collaboration with Talent and Marketing managers.
• Conduct pre‑screening interviews, present shortlists to hiring managers and coordinate interview schedules.
• Ensure competency‑based interview questions are used and manage offer letter preparation.
• Maintain accurate applicant and interview data in the HRIS, including interview notes and reference checks.
• Provide timely feedback to all candidates and agencies, and manage pre‑employment checks and onboarding.
• Coordinate psychometric assessments and produce recruitment reports for weekly meetings.
• Develop and maintain talent pools for technical and core roles, and contribute to recruitment branding and marketing strategies.
• Support diversity initiatives and ensure fair hiring practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior recruitment or talent acquisition roles.
• Strong networking abilities and experience building employer brand presence.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage candidates and stakeholders.
• Track record of managing end‑to‑end recruitment processes and delivering quality hires.
• Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in hiring.
