Senior Enterprise Process Architect (12‑month contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Enterprise Process Architect to lead the design and evolution of enterprise‑wide process architecture and Business Process Management (BPM) capabilities on a 12‑month contract. This high‑impact role will work closely with senior executives to drive transformation, improve governance, and deliver sustainable performance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise process architecture (L0‑L4) aligned with strategic capabilities and value chains.
• Establish a single source of truth for process models, standards, and taxonomy.
• Design and implement BPM governance frameworks, operating models, and ownership structures.
• Lead BPM maturity uplift initiatives, ensuring compliance and audit readiness.
• Optimize and govern BPM platforms such as ARIS, Celonis, or equivalent tools.
• Partner with Enterprise and Solution Architects to align process design with technology architecture.
• Identify automation and efficiency opportunities across the enterprise.
• Develop performance measures focused on cost, cycle time, compliance, and effectiveness.
• Build a Process Engineering Community of Practice to foster capability and consistency.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in Enterprise Process Architecture and BPM.
• Proven ability to engage senior executives and influence enterprise‑wide decisions.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and influencing capabilities.
• Experience working with Enterprise Architecture and Solution Architecture teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and independent execution in complex, multi‑disciplinary environments.

Required skills

• BPMN modelling and process lifecycle management.
• Hands‑on experience with ARIS.
• Hands‑on experience with Celonis or comparable process‑mining platforms.
• Process mining and automation concepts.
