Certified Information Security Officer (CISO) Resource

About the role

We are looking for a Certified Information Security Officer (CISO) Resource to provide strategic cybersecurity leadership and governance for our organisation. The role will guide risk management, compliance and security operations to protect information assets against evolving cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and advise on cybersecurity strategy, governance frameworks, policies, standards and procedures.
• Lead cyber risk management, compliance and security‑governance initiatives, driving maturity improvements.
• Assess risks and recommend controls for systems, infrastructure, applications and sensitive data.
• Support SOC governance, incident management, threat response and reporting processes.
• Advise stakeholders on regulatory, audit and compliance requirements.
• Oversee incident‑response planning, cyber resilience, business continuity and disaster‑recovery alignment.
• Provide executive‑level reporting on cyber risks, control gaps and remediation plans.
• Promote cybersecurity awareness and best practices across technical and business teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science or a related field.
• Valid CISO certification or equivalent recognised cybersecurity leadership certification.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity leadership, information security governance, cyber risk management or SOC environments.
• Experience developing and implementing security policies, controls, frameworks and incident‑response processes.
• Strong understanding of cyber threats, security architecture, vulnerability management and compliance requirements.
• Ability to engage senior stakeholders, technical teams, auditors and vendors on security matters.
