Restaurant General Manager (RGM) – Fast Food

About the role

As the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) you will lead a KFC outlet in Ceres, ensuring operational excellence and delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will inspire, develop and guide your team while meeting company standards, policies and profitability targets.

Key responsibilities

• Champion CHAMPS standards – cleanliness, hospitality, accuracy, maintenance, product and speed of service.
• Manage restaurant shifts, drive sales growth, efficiency and profitability.
• Forecast and schedule labour to meet operational demands.
• Implement controls for safety, security and protection of assets.
• Oversee stock management and cost controls to maximise profitability.
• Achieve Business Scorecard targets and execute local store marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• 3–5 years’ management experience in hospitality or quick‑service restaurants.
• Strong English communication, numeracy and proficiency with MS Teams, Excel and Word.
• Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) required; tertiary qualification advantageous.
• Passion for product quality, customer service excellence and the KFC brand.
• Based in the Boland/Western Cape area (advantageous).
