About the role

Medirite Paardevlei is seeking a qualified Pharmacist Assistant (Post‑Basic) to join the pharmacy team immediately. The successful candidate will support the pharmacist in dispensing medication and handling a range of pharmacy‑related administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with dispensing medication under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Maintain accurate stock control and inventory records.
• Perform routine administrative duties such as record keeping and documentation.
• Ensure cleanliness and housekeeping standards within the pharmacy area.
• Provide front‑shop service to customers, answering basic queries and supporting sales.

Required profile

• Post‑Basic qualification as a Pharmacist Assistant.
• Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Commitment to adhering to pharmacy regulations and safety standards.
