Night Duty Manager

About the role

Mediclinic is seeking a Night Duty Manager to lead the delivery of safe, high‑quality patient care during night hours. The role ensures continuous patient safety and a positive experience by coordinating clinical and non‑clinical resources.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient services in line with patient safety standards.
• Meet clinical quality standards according to established policies and procedures.
• Optimize staff utilisation and competence, ensuring behaviours reflect the organisation’s core values.
• Supervise and maintain continuity of patient care throughout the night shift.
• Coordinate resources efficiently to enhance safe patient care.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in nursing (essential).
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience as a professional nurse.
• 2–3 years of unit‑level management experience (desired).
• Relevant management or leadership qualification (desired).
