Lead Software Testing

About the role

We are strengthening how we test and release our digital products. This role leads our software testing capability forward, balancing today’s manual testing needs with a clear move towards automation while developing people and raising the quality bar across everything we deliver.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of software test analysts, helping them grow into stronger, more automated testers.
• Own the end‑to‑end testing approach for your product area, from planning through to release readiness.
• Increase test automation coverage while ensuring manual testing remains effective where it matters.
• Set clear testing standards and ensure quality risks are identified early and managed well.
• Work closely with software engineers, product partners and operations to deliver reliable releases.
• Build confidence in testing outcomes by making results visible, clear and trusted.

Required profile

• Solid experience in software testing, covering both manual and automated testing.
• Hands‑on experience with test automation, including scripting and modern automation tools.
• At least one year of experience leading or managing a testing team.
• Strong understanding of the full software delivery lifecycle and where testing adds the most value.
• Ability to create clear test plans and guide others through them.
• Confident communication and a calm, structured approach to problem‑solving.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in information technology or a related field.
