About the role
This entry‑level position supports the Specialised Services Division by managing crime‑related data and providing timely information to investigators, managers and external clients. The role combines data entry, reporting and basic analytical tasks in a fast‑paced security environment.
Key responsibilities
- Capture, update and maintain crime information in internal databases.
- Compile and distribute crime reports and statistical summaries.
- Assist investigators, managers and clients with accurate crime data and respond to queries promptly.
- Provide feedback on requests and ensure queries are resolved within reasonable timeframes.
- Perform general office and administrative duties as required.
Required profile
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- Advanced typing and copy‑typing skills with a strong focus on number accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual proficiency is preferred.
- Dependable, able to work independently, meticulous and precise.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet targets and travel when needed.
- Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record; candidates will undergo polygraph and background checks.
Required skills
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Office applications.
- Familiarity with Online Risk Manager (advantageous).
- Experience or training in CiiMS Pro or Analyst Notebook (advantageous).
- Strong analytical thinking for observing and assessing crime information.
- Report writing and presentation abilities.
