Java Spring Developer

About the role

IQbusiness’s technology division is looking for an experienced Java Spring Developer to design, develop, test and maintain enterprise‑grade banking applications. The role focuses on building scalable, high‑performance backend systems within an agile, cross‑functional team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust Java applications using Spring Boot.
• Create secure, scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Write automated unit tests with JUnit and ensure code quality.
• Manage builds and dependencies with Gradle or Maven.
• Containerize applications and deploy with Docker.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, QA and frontend developers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and conduct peer code reviews.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement performance enhancements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise‑scale applications with Spring Boot.
• Experience working in Agile software delivery teams.
• Background in financial services or banking is advantageous.
• Relevant Java certification (e.g., Oracle Java Certification) is a plus.
