About the role
The Head of Commercial – Europe will lead BFG Africa’s commercial function for its FRP product portfolio across the European market. This senior position is responsible for driving revenue growth, shaping commercial strategy, and ensuring the right products reach the right customers at profitable margins.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute a commercial growth strategy aligned with BFG Africa’s expansion ambitions.
- Drive revenue across FRP product lines such as manholes, roofing sheets, water tanks, pipes, and stadium components.
- Act as the voice of the market, translating customer needs into product development inputs.
- Manage key accounts, lead high‑value tenders, and negotiate contracts, pricing models, warranties and service levels.
- Own pricing strategy, optimise margins and champion value‑based selling.
- Identify new industry, application and geographic opportunities for FRP products.
- Build and maintain a robust commercial pipeline and guide Business Development teams.
- Collaborate closely with Technical & Engineering, Operations and GRC functions to ensure product alignment, delivery capability and compliance.
