About the role
As an External Sales and Service Advisor Lead, you will drive sales within the KZN South & West region, applying proven sales techniques to meet targets, strengthen client relationships and support the overall success of the team.
Key responsibilities
- Apply appropriate sales processes to achieve targets and build lasting client relationships.
- Retrieve qualified leads from internal pipelines and generate new business through external channels.
- Contact prospective clients, present banking products and manage the end‑to‑end client journey from proposal to post‑sale support.
- Maintain expert knowledge of product pricing, application procedures and timelines to drive sales.
- Analyse competitor information, monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with governance, legislation and audit requirements.
Required profile
- Completed a FSCA‑recognised FAIS NQF Level 5 qualification or higher.
- Passed the First Level Regulatory Examination.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and grow a business portfolio.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and client needs.
Required skills
- Knowledge of banking products, pricing structures and application processes.
- Ability to analyse competitor data and spot market opportunities.
- Competence in managing the full client lifecycle from prospecting to post‑sale queries.
