About the role
As an External Sales and Service Advisor Lead you will apply proven sales techniques within the KZN North region to achieve targets, deepen client relationships and support the broader team’s success. You will act as the primary point of contact for prospective and existing customers, guiding them through the full banking product journey.
Key responsibilities
- Apply appropriate sales processes to meet assigned sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive engagement.
- Generate qualified leads from internal pipelines and external sources.
- Contact prospective clients, present banking products, and close sales.
- Manage end‑to‑end client interactions, from proposal preparation to post‑sale support.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and identify new business opportunities.
- Maintain expert knowledge of product pricing, application procedures and timelines.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements.
Required profile
- Completed FSCA‑recognised FAIS NQF Level 5 qualification or higher.
- Successful completion of the First Level Regulatory Examination.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and cross‑sell business portfolios.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret market needs and competitor information.
- Excellent communication and client‑service orientation.
