About the role

The Financial Advisor specialising in Health will acquire, retain and grow a client base for health‑related financial products. You will provide comprehensive financial planning and deliver an excellent client experience across middle‑income to affluent segments. The role focuses on strategic health solutions such as medical aid, health insurance and GAP cover.

Key responsibilities

• Consult clients by phone to assess financial goals, needs and risk tolerance.
• Provide strategic advice on medical aid, health insurance and GAP cover products.
• Respond promptly to client queries and resolve issues.
• Engage prospective clients, understand their financial needs and propose suitable solutions.
• Sell health‑related financial products that align with client requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year experience in the financial services industry.
• Matric or equivalent qualification.
• FAIS registration in accordance with date of first appointment (DOFA).
• Relevant Class of Business certificates within 1 year of DOFA.
• RE5 certification within 2 years of DOFA.
• FSCA‑approved qualification within 6 years of DOFA.
