Financial Adviser – Multiple Areas (Mowbray, Claremont, Pinelands, Newlands, Grassy Park, Tokai)

About the role

The role involves delivering professional financial advice, planning and product sales to both new and existing clients across several Cape Town suburbs, while building long‑term relationships and supporting the growth of the Sanlam brand.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional financial advice, planning and product sales to new and existing clients.
• Generate sustainable business by meeting revenue and activity targets, promoting the Sanlam brand and ensuring fair treatment of customers.
• Network, prospect and generate leads through face‑to‑face interactions, social media and existing client base.
• Conduct comprehensive fact‑finding, financial needs analysis and present tailored solutions while maintaining compliance.
• Deliver high‑quality client service, maintain long‑term relationships and pursue continuous learning.
• Document and report weekly/monthly activity, contacts, revenue and client updates.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification.
• FAIS “Fit and Proper” status and successful completion of the regulatory examination; registration with the FSCA for at least 24 months.
• Strong communication, tech‑savvy, action‑oriented and persuasive interpersonal skills.
