Financial Adviser – Lynnwood

About the role

The Financial Adviser will provide professional financial advice, planning and product solutions to new and existing clients in Lynnwood, building long‑term relationships and supporting Sanlam’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional financial advice, planning and product solutions to new and existing clients.
• Generate sustainable business by meeting revenue targets and activity quotas.
• Build and maintain long‑term client relationships, ensuring loyalty to the Sanlam brand.
• Network, prospect and generate leads through face‑to‑face interactions, social media and referrals.
• Conduct comprehensive fact‑finding, financial needs analysis and present balanced portfolio recommendations.
• Ensure all client interactions comply with regulatory disclosures and Treating Customers Fairly principles.
• Monitor client accounts, respond to maturities, cancellations and provide ongoing service.
• Document and report weekly/monthly activity, contacts and revenue against targets.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification.
• Successful completion of the FAIS “Fit and Proper” requirements and regulatory examination, with at least 24 months registration with the FSCA.
• Knowledge of financial advice, compliance, risk management and client relationship management.
• Ability to achieve production targets, budgeting and revenue generation.
