About the role

As a Business Relationship Manager at FNB Commercial Sales and Service, you will lead a portfolio of high‑value commercial clients, driving growth, profitability and strong stakeholder relationships. You will act as a trusted advisor, identifying new opportunities and ensuring excellent service delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Strategically manage and expand a portfolio of high‑value clients.
  • Build and maintain trust‑based relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and lead client acquisition.
  • Manage cost‑to‑income ratios to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Drive customer service delivery and achieve predefined service goals.
  • Generate leads, grow the active customer base and support customer migration initiatives.
  • Define sales strategies and delivery plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Assess credit applications in line with the bank’s credit policy and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Compile performance reports to guide business decisions.
  • Lead and develop team members, fostering a high‑performance environment.

Required profile

  • 2‑3 years experience as a Business Relationship Manager in commercial banking.
  • FAIS accredited qualification (NQF level 6 or 7).
  • Exposure to credit applications within the agricultural sector.
  • Relevant RE qualification and solid credit‑management experience.
  • Proven ability to handle high‑level customer queries.
  • Must not be an unrehabilitated insolvent.
