About the role
As a Business Relationship Manager at FNB Commercial Sales and Service, you will lead a portfolio of high‑value commercial clients, driving growth, profitability and strong stakeholder relationships. You will act as a trusted advisor, identifying new opportunities and ensuring excellent service delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Strategically manage and expand a portfolio of high‑value clients.
- Build and maintain trust‑based relationships with key stakeholders.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and lead client acquisition.
- Manage cost‑to‑income ratios to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- Drive customer service delivery and achieve predefined service goals.
- Generate leads, grow the active customer base and support customer migration initiatives.
- Define sales strategies and delivery plans aligned with business objectives.
- Assess credit applications in line with the bank’s credit policy and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Compile performance reports to guide business decisions.
- Lead and develop team members, fostering a high‑performance environment.
Required profile
- 2‑3 years experience as a Business Relationship Manager in commercial banking.
- FAIS accredited qualification (NQF level 6 or 7).
- Exposure to credit applications within the agricultural sector.
- Relevant RE qualification and solid credit‑management experience.
- Proven ability to handle high‑level customer queries.
- Must not be an unrehabilitated insolvent.
