Branch Consultant / Financial Advisor (Gugulethu)

About the role

The Branch Consultant/Financial Advisor will promote Sanlam Retail Mass (SRM) products, provide sound financial advice and deliver a high level of client service within a branch environment. The role focuses on increasing market share through client optimisation and cross‑selling of value‑added services.

Key responsibilities

• Gain deep knowledge of SRM product ranges and match them to customers' financial goals, submitting new business through appropriate channels.
• Service and retain clients by managing profiles, sending payment reminders, handling queries, and ensuring compliance with product and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain quality and compliance standards, keep CPD points up to date, and log all advisory activities as required.
• Report daily activities, collate data for weekly/monthly reporting, and support the Retail Branch Manager with ad‑hoc tasks.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification; RE5 advantageous; FAIS compliant as per DOFA requirements.
• Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, build effective teams, and plan/align activities to achieve targets.
