Warehouse Pick Store Manager

About the role

Britos Meat is looking for a highly organised, detail‑driven Pick Store Manager to take full operational control of the Pick Store within its Superfreeze Cold Store division. The role ensures accurate daily picking, effective stock control and smooth coordination between telesales, dispatch, inventory and production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Pick Store admin office, ensuring picking slips and goods issues are completed accurately and on time.
• Prioritise picking according to dispatch route schedules and oversee special orders from start to completion.
• Maintain sufficient stock levels, enforce proper rotation, conduct cycle counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Process stock transfers, ensure correct issuing of stock and collaborate with the Inventory department to resolve queries.
• Engage daily with telesales, dispatch, inventory, production facilities and the Cold Store Manager to align operations.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification with a valid driver’s licence.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in stock control, warehouse or cold‑store environments.
• Strong leadership, organisational ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of the Macro system for booking stock and processing picking slips.
• Strong Microsoft Office (MS Office) skills.
