About the role

Econo Foods, a fast‑growing FMCG retailer specializing in frozen foods, is looking for a dynamic Warehouse Area Supervisor. The role focuses on managing stock age, monitoring breakages and damages, and supervising operators in the freezer, chiller, and dry‑storage zones to ensure product quality and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage stock age and implement rotation practices to prevent expiration.
• Monitor and reduce breakages and damages in freezer, chiller, and dry‑storage areas.
• Supervise warehouse operators handling put‑away, replenishment, and rotation.
• Provide guidance, training, and safety oversight to the warehouse team.
• Track inventory levels and coordinate with other departments to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Analyse operational data to identify improvement opportunities and boost productivity.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to coordinate inbound and outbound workflows.
• Report stock age, breakages, damages, and performance metrics to management.
• Enforce PPE usage and overall safety compliance.
