Volpes Sales Associate - Atterbury

About the role

The Foschini Group is looking for a confident, energetic and customer-focused Sales Associate for its Volpes store in Atterbury, Pretoria. The role suits someone with previous retail sales experience who wants to combine excellent customer service with contributing to the store's sales performance. The store sells home and lifestyle products, so an interest in creating comfortable, attractive and functional living spaces is welcome.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with shoppers, understand their preferences and recommend suitable products
• Monitor personal sales performance and identify ways to reach or exceed sales targets
• Maintain store stock and keep merchandise attractively presented
• Keep the store organised so customers can easily browse and find products
• Work independently and collaborate with colleagues in a dynamic retail environment

Required profile

• Completed Matric certificate (compulsory)
• Previous retail sales experience
• Interest in home and lifestyle products; formal interior design qualifications are not required
• Previous hospitality experience is an advantage but not compulsory
