Videographer

About the role

Pedros is recruiting a Videographer for its Head Office Marketing Division in Newlands East, KwaZulu-Natal. This permanent position suits experienced videographers who can film, edit and professionally colour grade, creating video content for campaigns, social media, digital advertising and Pedros' brands.

Key responsibilities

• Develop concepts, storyboards and shot lists
• Plan shoots, equipment and schedules
• Film food, products, events, interviews and social content
• Manage camera operation, lighting and sound
• Edit videos with strong storytelling and pacing
• Perform expert colour correction and grading
• Create vertical, square and landscape video formats
• Add captions, audio mixes and basic motion graphics
• Maintain equipment and organise video files
• Deliver approved videos on time

Required profile

• At least 5 years of videography and editing experience
• Expert colour grading ability
• Ability to plan, film and edit videos from start to finish
• Valid driver's licence and own vehicle
• Willingness to travel to shoots and transport equipment
• A strong showreel demonstrating your own filming, editing and colour grading, including before-and-after examples

Required skills

• Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent
• Camera, lighting and sound
• Advantageous: qualification in Film, Video Production or Multimedia; food, restaurant, retail or lifestyle filming experience
