Graphic Designer & Social Media Content Creator

About the role

A premium South African wellness brand specialising in saunas, ice baths and wellness experiences is looking for a versatile Graphic Designer and Social Media Content Creator in Edenvale, Johannesburg. The role combines graphic design, photography, videography and social media content, working closely with the Director and Graphic Design Manager. It is office-based, with hybrid working possible after a successful probation period.

Key responsibilities

• Design marketing material, layouts, presentations and branded collateral, keeping brand guidelines, typography, colours and imagery consistent.
• Create Instagram and social media content, including Reels, short-form videos and promotional posts.
• Visit client installations and project sites to photograph and film products, installations, wellness spaces and behind-the-scenes moments.
• Edit video into polished short-form content with music, transitions, text overlays and branding, and repurpose footage for different platforms.
• Support marketing campaigns, product launches and presentations, and manage several creative assignments to deadline.

Required profile

• Proven experience in graphic design, digital content creation or a similar creative role, with a strong portfolio.
• Practical experience making Instagram Reels and short-form social content.
• Good understanding of photography, videography, composition, lighting and branding.
• Willingness to travel to client sites when required.
• Formal qualifications are advantageous but not essential.

Required skills

• Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, or equivalent professional tools.
• Video editing software.
