Unit Manager

About the role
The Unit Manager will lead the end‑to‑end performance of a production unit at CCBA’s Polokwane facility. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for safe, efficient and cost‑effective delivery of daily and weekly production targets.
Key responsibilities
- Drive operational excellence through strong people leadership and equipment reliability.
- Ensure adherence to QFSE and safety standards while executing disciplined production plans.
- Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives across quality, productivity, waste reduction and team capability.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to optimise plant performance and maintain a high‑reliability manufacturing environment.
Required profile
- Proven experience in leading a production unit or similar manufacturing environment.
- Ability to ensure safety, efficiency and cost‑effectiveness in daily operations.
- Strong focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Effective cross‑functional collaboration and people‑leadership skills.
