Transport POD Clerk

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous Transport POD Clerk to join our transportation team in Centurion. The role focuses on processing and verifying proof‑of‑delivery documents to ensure accurate and timely delivery records.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, review and process proof‑of‑delivery documents from transportation vendors.
• Enter delivery data into the transportation management system promptly and accurately.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for all delivery documentation.
• Verify authenticity of documents and cross‑reference with shipment and customer records.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in delivery paperwork.
• Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to obtain missing information.
• Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Required profile

• Matric certificate (minimum).
• Previous clerical or administrative experience, preferably in logistics or transportation.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment with tight deadlines.
• Good organisational and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with data‑entry software and basic computer applications.
