About the role
JAM is looking for a motivated Trainee Manager to join its retail team at Savannah Mall in Polokwane. This entry‑level management position offers the chance to develop leadership skills while supporting daily store operations.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing day‑to‑day activities.
- Maintain accurate stock levels and conduct regular stock takes.
- Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve sales targets.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and store presentation.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations.
Required profile
- Matric (high school) qualification.
- Minimum 2 years experience as an Assistant or Store Manager.
- Proven track record of accurate stock taking.
- Strong leadership and people‑management abilities.
- Results‑driven with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Excellent attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
