Distribution Partner Manager – Inland Outer

About the role

Red Bull is looking for a Distribution Partner Manager for the Inland Outer region, based in Polokwane. The main priority is representing and managing the Red Bull business with the assigned RTM partner, while also managing redistributors by developing annual business plans, driving growth and tracking KPIs so that distribution, execution and volume increase.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze geographic areas through trade visits and use depletion data to identify sales opportunities and close gaps
• Develop the annual Regional Business Plan with the Head of Direct Distribution, targeting deeper Red Bull presence in independent urban and rural channels
• Co-develop business plans covering volume, horizontal and vertical distribution, execution and information exchange, and manage POS stock, handling and ROI calculations
• Define call cycles and monthly business reviews with the distributor partner, and track KPIs such as volume sales, distribution numeric, price compliance, store and promotional execution
• Train the distributor's sales force on Red Bull standards, lead by example, quantify opportunities and conceptualise new concepts
• Carry out regular trade visits, prepare and lead monthly reviews with the distributor's regional team, and share best practices
• Manage the budget for commercial, sales-force and below-the-line marketing initiatives

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Valid driving licence
• More than 5 years of sales experience in the FMCG sector
• Proven track record of managing third-party sales teams (distribution partner preferred)
• Regional accounts experience in independent trade; key account experience is an advantage
• 80% of time in the field, 20% on analysis, planning, case studies and reporting

• Ability to work independently, analyse financial statements and market trends, and build business strategies
