Telesales Representative

About the role

Platinum Life is seeking a motivated Telesales Representative to join its referral‑based sales team in Johannesburg. You will work with pre‑qualified leads who have expressed interest in our top‑class life, cancer and disability insurance products, helping them understand the benefits and secure coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Contact referred leads by phone and introduce Platinum Life’s insurance solutions.
• Build rapport, assess customer needs, and answer product‑related questions.
• Present features, benefits and value propositions tailored to each prospect.
• Guide prospects through the sales process and close deals using taught techniques.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and update the CRM system.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet performance targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency in English language.
• Proficiency in Afrikaans language.
