Telesales Agent – Call Centre (Johannesburg)

About the role

Cartrack is a world‑leading smart mobility technology company seeking motivated individuals to join its Call Centre team in Rosebank, Johannesburg. As a Telesales Agent you will engage prospective and existing customers, present Cartrack’s products and services, and help grow the subscriber base across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Contact potential customers via phone, email and online platforms using provided leads.
• Identify customer needs, present relevant solutions and negotiate sales.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions in the company’s CRM system.
• Follow up on leads, manage objections and close sales to meet or exceed targets.
• Collaborate with team members and share best practices to improve overall performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years outbound sales experience, preferably in a call‑centre environment.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Fluent in English and at least one additional language.
• High school diploma or equivalent; tertiary education is a plus.
• Self‑motivated, resilient and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Strong computer proficiency with relevant software, databases and online platforms.
