Technician – Electronic/Mechanical Testing & Repair

About the role

Rad Resources is seeking a proactive Technician to deliver cost‑effective electronic and mechanical testing, repair, and support for all product lines. You will work directly with customers, ensuring swift resolution of queries and maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, organised customer service and handle client queries via phone, live chat, and email tickets.
• Perform mechanical and electronic testing and repair, ensuring equipment meets original performance and quality standards.
• Log all failures, feed data to the Quality department, and support Production and R&D in identifying failure trends.
• Maintain accurate records in SAP, CRM, and Zoho Desk, and ensure timely completion of service reports.
• Contribute improvement ideas for product reliability, service processes, and test equipment.
• Assist with ad‑hoc duties such as training, technical data updates, exhibitions, site support, and testing new products.
• Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety standards and be available for overtime, after‑hours, and weekend shifts as needed.

Required profile

• Currently studying or holding an N3/S2 qualification in Electronic, Mechanical, or Electro‑Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of electronic concepts and practical mechanical skills.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to capture and communicate technical information accurately.
