About the role

This position provides first‑line technical support for diesel generator customers while also handling telesales activities. The role rotates between the Lanseria and Brits offices, ensuring seamless service delivery across the South African and sub‑Saharan markets.

Key responsibilities

Act as the technical first‑line contact for telephone generator support.
Create schedules and plan optimal routing for field technicians.
Brief technicians on completed work and process related invoices.
Keep customers informed about the status of their service requests.
Process warranty claims and work orders.
Schedule subcontractor work and maintain subcontractor relationships.
Prepare quotations for services and spare parts.
Greet customers entering the store and assess their requirements.
Provide immediate solutions to customer inquiries and resolve product‑related complaints.
Monitor store inventory and report discrepancies.
Process customer payments and update customer information in the system.
Execute sales orders and manage customer relationships.
