Data Scientist: Supply Chain Modeller

About the role

We are looking for a Data Scientist who enjoys tackling real‑world optimisation challenges within a large, complex supply chain. You will join a data‑driven team focused on digital transformation, combining data science, operations research, mathematical modelling and simulation to improve network efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain and execute supply‑chain network models, including greenfield analysis and multi‑echelon optimisation.
• Develop what‑if scenarios and simulations to assess the impact of demand, capacity or distribution changes.
• Identify optimisation opportunities with measurable business value and turn analytical models into robust, scalable solutions.
• Perform sophisticated data preparation, analysis and apply predictive and descriptive modelling techniques.
• Present findings and business cases to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• A degree in Operations Research, Mathematical Science, Engineering or a related quantitative discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, data science or network modelling, preferably within supply‑chain, logistics or retail environments.
• Strong mathematical modelling capabilities and analytical, quantitative problem‑solving skills.
