Technical Manager - Corporate Clothing Manufacturing

About the role

You will lead all technical functions that ensure corporate clothing garments are developed, manufactured, and delivered to meet customer specifications, quality standards, cost targets, and production timelines. Acting as the technical bridge between customers, sales, product development, procurement, production, quality assurance, and external suppliers, you will drive continuous improvement and technical innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee technical development of all corporate clothing products, reviewing specifications, construction methods, and technical packs.
• Manage garment fit sessions, approve fit comments, and ensure consistency across production runs.
• Lead pattern makers, graders, marker makers, sample‑room staff, and technical coordinators; set objectives, conduct performance reviews, and provide coaching.
• Control sample‑room workflow from concept to final approval, ensuring timely delivery of customer samples.
• Establish and maintain garment quality standards, investigate issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Support production planning by guaranteeing technical readiness, approving fabrics and trims, and resolving technical fabric or trim challenges.
• Identify cost‑effective construction methods and evaluate manufacturing feasibility.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading technical teams in garment or apparel manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of corporate clothing specifications and industry standards.
• Ability to manage cross‑functional collaboration with sales, product development, procurement, and production.
• Track record of driving continuous improvement, quality compliance, and cost efficiency.
